I need help

So me and my boyfriend have been together for a little over seven months. We both have our own places but for about two months he stayed at my apartment pretty much every night and it’s like we were living together. I recently moved home to live with my mom and haven’t been able to see him as much as before. When I do see him now he’s like a different person, like acting different. He says he loves me but when we’re not together we don’t talk much and when we are together we’re both on our phones not really paying attention to each other. I love him so much but I feel like we’re growing apart and I don’t know if its to the point where we should end it or try to work on communicating more. Please give me advice!!
