Possible early miscarriage or what?

So I started my period on the 4th of this month and today I started cramping. (It felt like period cramps but mild and only lasted a few minutes) I went to the bathroom later in the day and notice some blood in my underwear. I wiped and a big black clot with some blood showed up. I have not had any bleeding after. Is this a early miscarriage or what?? (FYI I do have some hormonal imbalances that I am on medicine for)
