Flu, cold, RSV, and newborn
I’m all kinds of paranoid guys. My baby is due in October. Right at the start of all the illnesses here. I have a massive family here. Some don’t believe in vaccines (please let’s not make this a vaccine debate, I choose to vaccinate and believe in them)
My dad works out of the country a lot. So there’s whatever sicknesses they have there, plus the long plane ride full of people and circulated germs. A set of inlaws will also be traveling by plane from across the country to meet LO as well.
This isn’t ‘first time mom’ paranoia. This is my second child, and I’m just a very protective mama bear. But how do I handle all of this? I know hand washing and germ x. But I’m not a fan of pass the baby as it is, and it doesn’t really take away from the fact that they could be sick anyways and not have symptoms yet.
