career change

So i am hoping to do a career change i have a bachelor's degree but not in education so i went to my state (FL) certification website and it says i need to apply by sending my transcripts picking a subject i would like to teach etc which i am thinking k-3 and i was wondering if anyone could give me some advice suggestions tips or whatever I'll take it all in regards to the required testing i have to do how to get certified quickly as possible and salary etc any info i will happily take thanks in advance!
