TMI: I need HELP and ADVICE!!!

Almost everytime my SO and I have sex his skin on his dick sometimes peels off. Does this happen to anyone else’s SO?? Is this normal??! Sometimes I get mad because we never can finish but i know it’s not his fault. He thinks it’s because I have prickly hair (usually i get waxed) which I don’t think that’s the cause because we’ve never had a problem before when I would have hair downstairs.
