First Weeks on the Implant

Hi everyone!

So I’ve had my implant in for four weeks now with no side effects (other than a HUGE bruise at the insertion site, which has luckily healed). BUT I was supposed to get my period on Friday and was getting all the lead up symptoms (i.e. lots of cramps and bloating) but my period hasn’t come. The cramps have faded quite a bit (but not gone completely) and the bloating has practically disappeared. I haven’t had spotting or anything yet either.

I know the implant is different for everyone and can have strange effects on your period like this. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same? I’m curious to see how similar situations have turned out for others, since I’m impatient :)
