Membrane Strip Experiences

Anyone on here that has had their membranes stripped, I would like to hear your experiences!

I'm 39 weeks 4 days today. I had mine stripped at my Dr apt around 11:30. Was hooked up to a monitor until about 12:45 to make sure baby is doing ok (her movements have been decreasing this week) got back to work around 1p.m.

I've had a tiny bit of spotting, which I expected because my Dr told me there was a possibility that I would. But I have been cramping really bad every 5-10 minutes since about 1.

I'm trying not to get too excited because she said there is only a 50/50 chance that the membrane sweep would send me into labor. And even if it does.. I highly doubt it would have happened that fast lol just looking for advice/stories to keep my mind busy!
