Unconventional pets & children

We're just gonna be all about the pets today, guys. 😂 I was wondering how you all feel about unconventional pets and having children around them.

During the whole not liking pets poll, I discovered there are certain pets I'd be okay with having like reptiles and ferrets. These may not be "unconventional", but a majority have pets like dogs and cats so... 🤷🏻

I remembered a video I wanted on Facebook of a little girl playing with a pet snake. A majority of the comments were calling the parents irresponsible and freaking out. So... how do you feel about people owning unconventional pets and having children? Unconventional being snakes, larger reptiles, spiders, roaches, foxes, monkeys, wolves, etc. Would you own an unconventional pet? If so, what kind?
