Formula feeding at night?

so i usually breastfeed, sometimes he gets a bottle with breast milk but not often. i was curious if anyone does breast during the day and formula before bed/at night. does your baby sleep longer?

Just know that it may impact your supply.  Also, yes formula fed infants sleep deeper than breastfed but that’s not always a good thing.

my son didn't sleep any better with formula vs breast milk and if you have the supply and want to keep it I'd bf st night it's also easier tha. trying to mix a bottle in the dark towing a crying hungry baby still half asleep yourself.

I did with my 2 yr old and it killed my supply.  by time I realized what was going on it was too late to save it.  so at 4 months I was done breastfeeding.

I started giving formula at night after a few months and she slept better. I still do it at 8 months 😊

we do formula at night before bed and she sleeps good (8-10 hours). it's not fool proof because once a week she gets up at 330ish. I pump in place of that feed.

We started giving our daughter a bottle of formula before bed at night when she was about 8 weeks old. It seems to be helping her sleep--almost immediately she went from waking up 2-3 times a night to waking up only once. She is now 12 weeks and is sleeping in 8-10 hour stretches. I will then pump in place of the feeding to keep my supply up. It works well because then I have milk to store for when I go back to work. But every baby is different. If you decide to give formula, just remembee to pump in place of the bottle to keep your supply up.

my formula fed daughter never slept through the night and woke every 3 hours. it's not that different. my son wakes every 2 or 3 hours.
it can really impact your supply, formula I'd expensive and gross and could upset their tummy which would make for even less sleep.
