advice please :(

I have a 3 year old daughter me and her dad we're together for five years after I had my daughter he got really abusive starting to be mean to me and her. He got to where he would tell her that he didn't love her because of me and that everything happened because I didn't love him he would end up getting her on the weekend one time and then ignoring her for months as the months went by I had to tell her that Daddy was at work and she would cry and say that she misses him he would come back around and tell me he misses her and I would get sucked in by his words and let him see her just for her heart to be broken again anywho I finally left him and I cut off all ties no Facebook no phone calls no nothing I met this guy and we are now expecting a baby as well my daughter's tends to call him daddy and he loves it to me he is the perfect father figure and he has no problem being there for my daughter now I have been hiding that I'm pregnant for my daughter's dad since I know he would act crazy but he has been texting me through my mom's phone saying that he misses his daughter and wants to see her am I in the wrong for thinking I should not let her see him because I feel like he would just leave again and of course my daughter would tell him that I am pregnant and I feel he would take that out on her he sends me pics of him cutting and holding guns to his head idk what to do i don't want my daughter to hate me
