How soon after starting a relationship with your SO did you expect a baby?

Comment!! I’ve just been noticing lots of people dating for a year or less before getting pregnant and I am just curious if it’s actually a common thing now or if my desire to have a baby 🍼 is making it worse.

I met my husband in January 2013, engaged in May 2013, married in June 2014, first baby 2015. We just kind of fit together like puzzle pieces.

I would never “expect” a baby. It’s something you should both talk about and agree on. We’ve been together a little over 1 1/2 years, and I made it clear when we got together that I don’t want biological kids, I want to do foster care. We’re gonna revisit that idea and look through finances once we’ve been together 2 years

We planned to get pregnant three months after we got married, which was about a year and a half after we started dating. We knew we wanted kids together but it was definitely planned so I don’t think I can call it an *expectation* per say.

My husband and I started dating in 2010, I became pregnant in 2013, we got engaged August 2013 (he planned on proposing before we found out I was pregnant, but found out I was pregnant before the ring came in). Our daughter was born March 2014. We got married April 8, 2017 and our second is due June 9! Our first wasn’t planned though. I was switching between birth controls.

Have now been together for 9 years and about to have #2.
Having a baby was definitely hard work, I was really glad we had been together for a long time before we fell pregnant, you really need to know how your partner reacts under stress and tricky situations before having a baby, helped us navigate a screaming baby that didn’t sleep without killing each other 😊

me and my husband was together just under 3 months when we found out we was expecting our twins. been together 6 years now and today is our 4th wedding anniversary. was very fast but we have known eachother for 20years xx
