So my son was born with blocked tear ducts. He saw a specialist around 8months old, and was told that it should clear by the time he is 1. He is now 1and a half, and the problem is still here. We have done all the recommended things to do to treat this. multiple eye drops, and ointments. massage, warm wash cloths etc.... the inside(white part ) has never been red, its all around the eye, lid and under eye, that gets red. So I know it's not conjunctivitis. So at this point we're headed back to specialist next week.

Has anyone been through this? did your child need surgery? any other options?
