Visitors after birth

I'm a FTM and thinking I'm going to want to enjoy alone time with my husband and baby after birth. We're allowing both our parents to come to the hospital a few hours after I give birth & we're ok with them visiting us at home during the first couple weeks, but we honestly don't want any other visitors for a while (maybe 1-2 weeks).

Have you (or will you) delay having visitors? If so, for how long?

I'd also love to hear from all of you about previous experiences with visitors and how it went!
