When will I start getting “waist down” at the dr?

My next apt is Monday which is 34+3... wondering when you have to start undressing and getting exams down there.  What exactly do they do each week?

My dr does the GBS at 36 weeks which requires you to go bottomless then starts cervical exams at 37 weeks.

On nhs I believe the first examination down there is St 40 weeks when you're offered a membrane sweep. Before that there I'd no mention of anything down there.

I’m 36 weeks and have my first “waist down” appt on Tuesday. They will be doing the strep test and not sure if they will do a cervical check. I see a midwife.

I had my first cervical exam at 31+4 because I went into preterm labor. I’ve had them twice weekly since then. I’m 35+3 now. Under normal circumstances at my OB’s office, they start checking you at 36 weeks.

36 for me. My dr tests for group b bacteria then checked my cervix to see if the baby was head down.

35+6 yesterday and she did an ultrasound to make sure baby was head down, GBS test, and cervical exam.
