Anyone on here have an hsg test done?

If so, how was it? What exactly do they do? Does it hurt? I want to know all about it! My obgyn wants to do this if I don’t ovulate my next round of Clomid On 150mg. I didn’t ovulate on 50 or 100mg so he’s going to try 150 and if it doesn’t work he wants to do that test!

I had it done but I was put to sleep before if (was  having surgery for endo and they decided to do the hsg while they were at it) hsg is a good thing to have but if you’re not ovulating hsg isn’t going to fix that.

I had my hsg before Clomid and didn't have the best experience to tell you the truth. For most women they experience period type pains however it was the first time I'd ever had anything go into my cervix 😂 During the procedure it hurt alot but was bearable, the pain I got afterwards when I went home however knocked me off my feet. I stupidly rode my motorbike home 20+ miles and when I got through the front door the pain was that bad I had to sit in the bath for a few hours and started throwing up 😂😂 I will clarify though, that is not a normal occurrence and it should be relatively pain free. And it's very worth it to check to make sure everything is okay down there x
