PLEASE HELP I GOT MY PERIOD A WEEK AFTER MY LAST ONE

so I started my period at the end week of march and it’s april 6th and I just started bleeding again. is this normal? i’m on birth control so I don’t know if that has anything to do with i️t. i’ve been on i️t for about 4 months. it’s a really light period with (TMI) brownish blood. my blood on my period is normally this brownish color. should I take a pregnancy test i’m so scared and confused. I don’t know if this is normal or not.
