Seasonal allergy sufferers

We just moved from a warm, moist climate in South Florida to cool, dry North Carolina and omg the pollen is insane. My son and I have been stuffed up ever since from the pollen, since it’s spring. I mean I don’t think I have breathed through my nose since we moved.

What can I do for us? I’m used to having allergies but this is BAD!

Here’s what I have done:

- He takes baby Sudafed (prescribed by his allergist) and I take Allegra

- Daily showers in cooler water to wash all traces of pollen from our hair

- Saline spray

- Air purifiers in every room

- HEPA air filter for the AC

- Hand washing any time we come inside and throughout the day

- Constant vacuuming

Any other tips? Trade secrets? I’m going to a farmers market for local honey bc I read it works like an allergy shot to immunize you to the local pollens as well. We’re going to allergists eventually but our new insurance for this state doesn’t kick in until 5/1 and we are miserable NOW.
