You should still be having 500 extra calories a day to support breastfeeding and babies health, fad diets usually aren't a good idea. Just eat more protein and fresh veggies and cut out complex carbs. And drink tons of water!

I did the old programs - points and points plus with previous pregnancies.  It worked well for me.
The biggest thing I learned initially was that I wasn’t eating enough.  If you don’t eat enough, your body won’t produce enough milk and will hang onto the weight.

Yes you can do it while on weight watchers. They specifically ask if you are breastfeeding and the points are adjusted to give you more. A friend of mine did this and lost all her baby weight on WW while nursing.
