How long do you have to wait in between IUIs?

I shouldn’t be asking this because I’m only 3dpiui and I should be positive but I had intense cramping the night before my IUI and I had been doubting my clearblue digital ovulation kit tests this month so I’m terrified I was a little late on my IUI 😩 I had no trigger shot just clomid days 5-9 which extended my cycle a bit longer so instead of ovulating on my usual day 13 or 14 I got my positive ovulation test on day 16 and IUI the next day. The doctor was so nice and reassuring saying the cramping a lot of times is mucus release preparing for ovulation but I’m still scared because I went home right after IUI and took another ovulation test and it came back completely negative 😩😩😩😩. ANywayssss my husband asked if worst case scenario this month didn’t work, can we jump into round two next month or do you have to wait?? Thanks for any info!!
