Spotting after sex?

Hi guys! can I get an opinion here? so my husband and I had intercourse 2 days ago on my ovulation day. the next morning I noticed some minor blood spotting and was confused. My period is not due for 2 weeks. It's wayyyy too early for my period, and it was definitely blood. Bt it was just that morning, and it hasn't happened since. And it wasn't like from rough sex or anything, because we'd done it in the early evening, around 8ish, and I was fine night. Nothing off at all. Any ideas what caused it?
