need to vent

So I was dating this guy and moved to Oregon from California with him. I left everything behind. January 6th I had him arrested for domestic violence. He had been hurting me in every form possible. I'm slowly picking up the pieces but now I've found out he had been seeing someone behind my back the entire time and is now full blown dating her. doing things for her he never did for me. not only that but he has tried communicating with my apartment manager to move back in and had tried contesting my restraining order. and now I have friends of several years that won't talk to me because he's spun a ridiculous web of lies. but what bothers me the most is I just can't fathom how someone could just seclude you and destroy you and hurt you and just move on so happily. and I'm nervous because the DA is opening a case against him where I'll have to go and testify and see him spin more lies I'm sure.
