Would I be able to mail a light dress in a mail drop post office box?

I have a light dress that I need to mail off and I’ve never mailed anything off before. So could I mail it in one of those blue post office drop boxes?

best thing is to take it inside the post office so they can weigh it for proper postage. unless you have a scale and enough stamps to cover it.

If I'm not mistaken, as long as it fits in the drop-box, it can be mailed that way. just be sure to put more than one stamp on it if it's like one of those large envelopes, or a mailing label if in a box.
