Cost of Progesterone injections?

For my mamas who had weekly progesterone injections, how much of the cost was covered by insurance?  What was the rough out of pocket cost? I start mine next week at 16 weeks, and of course will get them no matter the cost. We lost our 24 weeker after a long NICU battle. But I am just trying to get an idea of the cost so we know how much to squirrel away.

i’m under a copay assistance so i don’t have to pay anything which helps out a lot. i’ve got 7 left and i can’t wait for them to be done and for my lil girl to be born!!!

I pay a co-pay if $30 a month (for 4 injections) for mail order. The people at Makena will contact you to set everything up, if needed and if it applies, they do have financial aid programs for those that need it. (Working so far for me! My first was born at 26 weeks, I’m 30 weeks tomorrow)

I have medicaid recently switched to medicare since im on ssd but it was fully covered for me and even able to shipped to my house i was on it 18-35 weeks my husband gma lives with us and is a retired RN her specialty was iv therapy so she gave me my weekly shots at home but i did have the option to take it to my ob and have the nurses give it to me but being an hour drive one way was too much for us my son was born preemie at 29+4 no reason was ever found he just wanted out and i was induced with my daughter at 37+1 she showed low weight gain on scans and it was correct she was 4lbs 9oz at birth but was able to come home with me at 2 days old only thing we had going home was a strict every 3 hour feeding schedule that went on until she was 6 1/2 weeks old
