Stabbing pain in my hoohaa

I've noticed over the past few weeks that a few times a day, at completely random times, I get a sharp stabbing pain in my vagina. The pain is on the inside, a little to the right, and near the opening of my vagina. It's pretty painful for a few seconds then it goes away.

I am married and sexually active, but this pain doesn't seem to coincide with sex. I'm not on my period, but I am on the pill and I know that I am not pregnant.

Does anybody have an idea of what this might be? Should I be concerned or reach out to my doctor? Thanks in advance.
