Metronidozole for BV causing thick white discharge?

I’m 37 weeks and on my second treatment of Metronidozole for BV-unfortunately :/
Dr and pharmacist said no reason to be concerned for baby. Any other opinions?
My discharge after using twice is really thick white and clumpy. Dr said it’s much body preparing for labor but I think it’s directly associated to the medicine.  The gel is clear though. Has anyone else had the?

For me the BV gel didn’t work, and created a killer yeast infection that lead to thick discharge. I wasn’t pregnant when I was on it it, but I would talk to your doctor just in case.

I had this last week and got the doctor to call me in oral medicine. I also had lots of clear jelly like discharge. Since finishing the medicine I have not had any. Def think it was the medicine getting rid of the infection. I’m 35 weeks.

Bv treatment often leads to a yeast infection for me, so maybe get checked out.
