Fayetteville NC moms
Hey y’all! I delivered my first at Cape Fear, and I had a wonderful experience. They gave me a catheter and pitocin, and it wasn’t until I delivered my second in another state that I learned getting a catheter and pitocin really wasn’t needed (unless deemed medically necessary of course).
So my question is, can you refuse catheter and more importantly pitocin at Cape Fear? I read on here about a girl delivering at a hospital where pitocin was automatically given to them? I don’t think Cape Fear just gives every woman in labor pitocin, but has anyone been told they were going to get it and then refused it?
Thanks a head of time mamas!
