I said it was too similar. But should specify. It’s too awkward if you’re pronouncing it Reeg-in (I know someone this way). But rhyming with you as it Rag-in is fine. Saying Reagan and Megan the way that they don’t rhyme is hard to say. But I think it would be kind of cool to rhyme with your kid.

I have a Reagan and she gets called Megan quite a bit, but obviously I love the name and you should totally use it. Honestly no one ever says my name, I just get called mom, so I think you’re golden.

I have a family member named Jackie and she named her son Jaxon and said “I love my name and want my kids name to be similar to mine.” Now that’s all I can think of when I hear mothers/fathers and their kids with similar names but that’s just because of what she said 🤦‍♀️
