How often do you and your partner have sex?

My boyfriend told me earlier that we have a lot more sex than most other couples. He wasn’t complaining at all, he said he loves the fact I’m so horny all the time. I just assumed we have sex like normal couples and the same amount of times, he thinks not. We have sex pretty much every day, sometimes upto 3 times a day depending on what mood I’m in. We have sex most days that I’m on my period too unless my cramps are really bad. My boyfriend said he heard on the radio couples have sex on average once every 3 days. This can’t be right surely? How often do you and your partner have sex?
