Connor Martin Neil Smith, 8lbs 3oz 20in long

after spending 44 hours in labor and 7 hours fully dialted and with only one side numb from the epidural and having my request for a c-section denied, they finally came to the conclusion that my baby boys head was too big for my pelvis and he was positioned wrong and therefore stuck in the birth canal. I was sent in for a c section but only after they let me catch an infection from my water being broken for so long.. the 2nd dose of epidural still didn't work and I ended up getting a few injections of something during the surgery which then finally started working and I dozed off. Baby boy was so stuck in there that they had to go in through my vagina and the incision to try and get him out.. It was a rough labor and delivery and I lost a lot of blood and needs a transfusion but my baby boy is happy and healthy and that's all I care about!
