Question

I was 6 weeks pregnant had spotting for a while, then started bleeding heavy, but the heavy bleeding lasted only 6 hours, then it went back to spotting. I took it as being a miscarriage because I’ve had one last time and it was a lot of blood too but it lasted for like 2 weeks. I know I have to go to the dr but do you think I could still be ok ?

I’m in a similar situation and spent most of today at the ER getting checked out. I was told it’s a threatened miscarriage (they call any type of red heavyish bleeding this) and they can’t tell me which way it’s going to at this stage as I’m so early along. I go back in 2 days to compare my HCG levels.
I’m scheduled for another ultrasound in 10 days to check the progression of the pregnancy (and make sure there is an embryo/heartbeat).
There’s nothing that can be done in the meantime, just have to wait it out, and I have to return to the ER only if I’m in severe pain, filling a pad more than once an hour, or passing huge clots.
