Freezer burn on breast milk?

Hi ladies. My son is EBF, and I only have a small freezer stash bc I’m on leave for 12 months. The stash that I do have (a month old) seems to have freezer burn — is it safe for us to use or should I toss it? A pic of one of the bags is below. Thanks for your advice!

Idk if it’s safe or not but I have used some of my milk stash that looks like that and my son has had no issue drinking it. I always warm it up and smell it before giving it to him.

It looks like all of the “freezer burn” stuff is on the outside of the bag. Is that correct?

Not sure if it's bad, but I lay my bags flat to freeze and try to get as much air out. Maybe that might help. I've read that breast milk can last up to 6 months in a regular freezer or a year in a deep freezer. It should be ok for baby. Good luck 👍

No idea.  Maybe turn your freezer up slightly so it's not so cold.
