let's chat about this! I have a friend who just met a guy less than a week ago and he went out and bought her a very expensive gift. it's a nice gesture I just think it's a little weird.

In my opinion,  anyone who goes out and buy expensive gifts after just days of knowing someone is quite desperate or has some hidden agendas. I was there and before and I gave the gift back,  not comfortable accepting random things like that.
