I need to tell someone! I picked up her ring yesterday! While she is technically already my fiancée (I’m a REALLY sappy drunk and accidentally proposed on her birthday lmao) but I wasn’t satisfied with how I proposed, so I’m redoing it on our anniversary (WHICH IS SUNDAY). She really wanted an opal engagement ring but it’s too soft a stone for everyday wear, so I got her an opal ring and in a year (sometime before the wedding) we’ll upgrade to ruby and sapphire engagement rings.
