Natural ways to get rid of anxiety?? Desperate!! ðŸ˜
So for my entire life (well, since I was about 13.) I have struggled with severe anxiety. It's to the point it affects my day to day living, and quality of life.
I get anxious about everything. I'm afraid of dying, I get scared any time I have a little cramp that I have cancer (my dad was diagnosed two years ago, so I think maybe that's what triggered it.) - I get nervous in social situations, the list goes on.
Well here's the thing. I really don't have the money for a therapist or for medication. I live with my boyfriend off campus, and I work twice a week and attend college full time. He works full time. By the time we get done paying for everything each month, we have like $100.00 left to put in savings. So therapy really is not an option for me currently.
I was wondering if meditation and yoga helped with anyone's anxiety?
I recently started eating healthier because I have read eating properly and getting in shape can decrease it and can improve your overall mental health.
Does anybody know of anything else that works? Writing in journals? Certain teas? Breathing exercises? Anything??? Lol
