Late ovulation?!?! Is 17 even late.....

I need advice. I have a friend who’s doc just told her, her late positive opk at cd 17 could lead to a older egg and less good quality and possible miscarriages and she should do clomid. WELL my doc had never said this to me and I always get a pos opk at day 17!!! I get ewcm, my periods are on a 32 day cycle and I always start my period a good 14-15 days after a positive opk. Now I’m all nervous and sad. My doc never cared about my cd 17 o but hers does?! 🤷🏻‍♀️ is this bad? Am I still ok? My progesterone was fine when taken before at a solid 9. Why do docs seem to always have different opinions. 😔
