Should I be scared?

So I had sex about 5 months ago and we were protected and I’m almost 100% sure that I’m not pregnant but I usually get my period only for 5 days and it’s been 7 of just spotting. My mom thinks I’m pregnant by Ive been on birth control for about 2 months. Should I be worried? Or is this normal for birth control. It just scares me that I am. Someone help 🙏🏼💞

if the last time you had sex was 5 months ago, you would definitely know by now if you were pregnant. if it was more recent, like since you've been on birth control, then you're probably fine as long as you've been using your birth control exactly as you're supposed to.
