Nexplanon implant
Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone would be ok with telling me their experience using the arm implant for birth control. I went in on Wednesday and was dead set on the copper IUD but unfortunately with how tight my cervix is, the doctor suggested not doing it. I also have Spina Bifida and use a wheelchair primarily and have issues with my hips so I couldn’t get my legs very far apart so there was also that issue. I’d previously been on Depo and it worked great for me but it did mess with my emotions a little too much for my liking. Since I wanted something long term, she suggested the arm implant but I’m wondering if this will also mess with my emotions badly or if I’ll be relatively ok on it. Anything good or bad, I would love to hear it and I understand that everyone’s bodies respond differently, I’m just curious what you all have experienced with it. Thank you in advance 🙂
