Why isn’t the line getting darker?

I know I shouldn’t keep testing... but I had a miscarriage so I’m a nervous wreck. I found out on Friday morning. It’s now Sunday (48 hours later) took another test and the line is still not dark! I’d be 14dpo today. I’m worried... shouldn’t it be dark by now?

I had that happened too. I just stopped testing, because I was stressing myself out. "The line is there, I am pregnant." And hpts don't test how high your hcg is, they just tell you the presence. And the darkness of the line has a lot to do with how diluted your urine is. But everything was fine with me when I stopped testing, and I'm now 34 weeks pregnant ☺ try not to worry!

Call the dr get your progesterone levels checked. Low levels can be the cause for early MC. They can give your supplements if it’s to low and it can help save the pregnancy. If you are using the same tests yes they should be getting darker every 48 hrs. Sometimes it’s hard to tell if the line is darker though especially early on. Sending you lots of prayers and positive thoughts hun.
