Am I taking things to lightly or is he being to serious?

I enjoy a drink every now & again. Not so much to call my an alcoholic but I definitely like to drink. So I tell my boyfriend that I might need to stop drinking & he responds “ahh yeah” like duh , saying that we don’t really know what’s going on yet (we had unprotected sex & my period is late) so I need to stop. But my reason wasn’t the same as his. I feel that if I do not know that I am pregnant why should I stop certain things as if I am. What do y’all think ?
