Condoms in boyfriends wallet

Ladies ,

Is it normal for your boyfriend to carry condoms in he’s wallet ?

We’ve been together for over a year and don’t use them . We’ve been through a tough patch this month and this morning I found a condom in his work bag which he emptied and placed it on the table .

When I confront him .. he’s excuse was he had it for long time in his work bag and now taken it out . he said all men carry one ... would that be a problem ..

Ladies do you find it a problem if he’s in a relationship and carries condoms ?
