Going back to work does not get easier

My son has been in day care for 5 months now and you know how they say being apart and going back to work gets easier It doesn’t well at least for me I miss my boy sooo much it’s unreal from the min I drop him off he’s all I think about and just counting down the time until I pick him up I’m so miserable without him during my work hours anyone else feel the same or am I just obsessed with my son always missing him feel like I’m missing a arm without him lol
