Girls help!! My boyfriend is battling with depression and anxiety, how can I help him?!
Right, here’s a quick lowdown!
My boyfriend, whom we actually recently split due to his issues he wants to focus on, just disclosed to me he’s battling with depression and anxiety. This has been an ongoing problem for babyboy because he’s started a new job which is turning out to drain him and he’s not happy with the people he works with even if it is his dream job. He’s also getting moved to another team which causes him anxiety as he’s worried he won’t like it there or the people. He’s recently going through some heavy family problem which is affecting him deeply as his family is very dear to him. He’s been feeling so low and demotivated for months now and I can tell he’s depressed but when he told me he has anxiety too it’s really broke my heart because he never admitted it. I too have been battling with severe depression for years so it really hurts to see the love if my life going through the same. He’s trying to keep me out and isn’t opening up to me but I really am the only person he can open up to without feeling uncomfortable so how can I help him? What can I do to make him feel at ease and to slowly get him to start thinking positively? I’ve been trying (without being naggy trust me) and he goes we both think polar opposites. But truth is I was where he was and I’ve had to become positive. So how can I help him??!
