Anyone else cramping all day, every day?

Question

I’ll be 38 weeks later this week, and I am having period like cramping all day, everyday it seems. 
Some are contractions that wrap around back and etc. But those are far between. 
Do you even time cramping? It seems impossible bc they linger for so long. 
I just wish something would happen or they go away until it’s time!
Anyone else in the same boat?
Also, can we use a heating pad on lower belly if set a warm instead of a temperature?

I'm 38 weeks as of yesterday and all last week and continuing into this week so far I've been crampy, like period crampy. Some actually really hurt. My evil mother says it's pay back for me doing it to her for a week when she was pregnant as well as being late a week. Though she did say she does feel bag because baby is huge and I just look so uncomfortable she can't even tease me.

I’m 35 weeks and just started cramping. I’ve noticed that if I relax and drink more water they calm down. My doctor said a heating pad was fine on my back, but I don’t know about on the stomach - my gut says no though.

I’ve been having cramping on an off. Currently 36w1d. I’d tay clear of the heating pad on the belly. Doctor told me no, but said it was ok to use on my back.

I’m 39 weeks tomorrow but have the cramping for last two weeks. My cramping is greatly reduced by increasing water intake. I also take Tylenol once a day and it helps.

I just posted about the same pain coupled with lower back pain. The Pais were timeable for a little bit but not very close together and then they petered out. I'm guessing it's just another way our bodies are preparing for the real thing. Doesn't mean it's not annoying as hell tho! I never had much pains with my last pregnancy just woke up in pretty steady labor with consistent timeable contractions that wrapped around my midsection there was no denying it was labor. This cramping is really getting me paranoid because some women describe contractions as cramping so I'm scared to downplay it too much in case it is causing cervical change I don't want to leave for the hospital too late!

After I posted this, I started getting horrible take breath away contractions... and then they stopped. Thought it was finally time. At least hoping the cramping is doing something to get our cervix ready!!
