when did you mommies get your baby to take a bottle?

I plan to breastfeed for minimum 6 months (hopefully) how old was your baby when you introduced the bottle? My husband works out of town so I want to get baby used to bottle right away so dad can feed and bond with baby while he's home. I read that around a month old is a good age once they establish a good breast feeding routine. What do you think? Any tips ?

My biggest tip if you want to bottle feed at some point is to introduce it early and keep doing it, even if it’s only occasionally. 
My daughter took a bottle from the start, then after about 3 months we stopped giving it as i thought the formula was giving her an upset stomach. Fast forward 2 months, tried to give her a bottle again and she refused to take it. And never took one again after that. Had to exclusively breastfeed EVERY FEED until she weaned at 12 months because she wouldn’t have any milk that wasn’t directly from the source!

We introduced a bottle at 2ish weeks old. After breastfeeding was established, but we definitely wanted her to take a bottle of offered so we didn’t want to wait. That being said, some babies never take a bottle no matter when you introduce it. With our second child, due in early June, we plan to introduce a bottle sooner (as soon as he’s able to latch properly for a few days).
