2nd c-section or to go for a vbac? Any suggestions?

My first baby was a c-section due to him being breach. I'm unsure of what to do this time...

I have the option due to the fact the only reason I had to have one was because he was breech. I'm just nervous, I will try vbac and for whatever reason have to have a c section. I have a 19 month old and due in July. I can't imagine taking care of him and a newborn while recovering from a c section but I've heard from a few people the second c section isn't that bad... I'd love to try a vbac.

I've scheduled my c section but if I go into labour before that we're just going to go with it and see how things progress.

I just had this convo with my dr and she said if the reason you had the first C-section was for positioning (breech) , she would encourage trying for a vbac as the success rates for that are high. She also said if the reasoning behind the CS was failure to progress, baby getting stuck,  she usually leaves it up to the patient bc success rates for those are lower.

It you can find a Dr to do a vbac I'd definitely recommend. I wanted to sooo bad but couldn't find a local Dr. I am thankful my babies are here safely but wish I could have experienced a vaginal delivery
