Getting physically attacked at 14 weeks!

I’ve had my cat for almost 10 years! She’s my baby. Well shes a dilute calico so can be kinda moody as they are part Siamese. She loves my husband and I. Before I got pregnant she would snap maybe once or twice a year with me. Never with him! But I would give her the silent treatment and she would come sucking up.

When I found out I was pregnant she was very cuddly and affectionate. At about 10 weeks this changed. She attacks me! I walk past her and she jumps on my leg kind of in a playing way but is way too rough and bites a bit too hard! Never so I draw blood but she will tear skin and get very aggressive. It’s a bit scary! My husband thought I was exaggerating and then he seen it the other day and was shocked. It came out of no where. Now the silent treatment doesn’t work. Even saying “bad kitty” and tapping her on the nose would usually be enough to stop her(most of the time) but now it makes her more mad and she goes crazy. I was cuddling her with my face the other day and she even bit me! She’s never done this! She used to sleep with me in bed when my husband goes to work, she would wake me up to cuddle. She no longer does this! She sleeps out on the couch alone.

Anyone else have this issue? I’m scared I’m going to have to give her up if she’s like this when the baby comes! 😢
