Membrane sweeping

Have any of you had it done? If so, how was it? Did it induce your labor and if so how quickly? Was it painful? Was it worth it overall?....my doctor offered to do it at my appointment this Thursday (39wks) but I’m not sure if I want her to or not. With my first, my water broke 3 days before my due date and he was born two days before my due date. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to let her do the sweep or just let things happen on their own naturally, hopefully anyways!
