Do you agree with the death penalty? (READ FIRST)

Before voting, don’t only consider the punishment fitting the crime, but all factors. The financial side, exonerations, is it doing what it’s intended? (Meaning deterring crime).

Personally, no. I do not agree with the death penalty because it’s so much more expensive than life in prison, the exoneration rate right now is running at 1:9! (Every 9 inmates executed, one is exonerated), and it’s not deterring crime. But I’d like to hear from all of you!
