How long should their sentence be ?

Cameron County constables arrested a man and a woman after they allegedly stole 18 bags of onions from a field in La Feria on Tuesday.

Constables were able to catch Abelardo Sanchez and Abigail M. Robledo after their vehicle got stuck in a ditch while attempting to flee the scene, according to Precinct 5 Cameron County Constable Eddie Solis.

Constables responded to the onion field after receiving a theft report from a property owner on Rabb Road.

The two were charged with theft, a Class B misdemeanor, and were taken to Cameron County jail.

I wonder if they are gonna start doing it to the people who stop in the middle of traffic to go run to the orange field to pick oranges
