Endoscopy and sedation?

I've got to have this done next week when I'll be 11 weeks and a bit. Quite worried. Has anyone had this done also? TIA x

I’m a RN in an Endoscopy center if I can answer any questions for you. What exact procedure are you having? Endoscopy is a broad term for several types of scope procedures.

Some sedative mediation’s are linked to birth defects and miscarriage. I’m assuming your need to get an endoscopy is more important than these risks though, otherwise a doctor wouldn’t do it.
